Image bearers

What does God, our holy Teacher, see in us, regardless of our “limits”? More than anything, He sees Himself. “So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27 nlt).

As His glorious “image bearers,” when others see us, we should reflect Him. The same is true for all believers. “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image,” says 2 Corinthians 3:18.

Keeping promise

When God delivers us from problems or hurts, we must have gratitude and glorify Him.

God's ability to use us doesn’t depend on a lengthy pattern of good behavior. It’s based solely on God’s willingness to work through us as we are: saved and growing by grace. You don’t have to work for His grace—it’s free.

A God who hears our cry

In my distress I called to the Lord . . . . My cry came to his ears. 2 Samuel 22:7

Iam at my best when in Christ

When King David was in need, he found this type of loving care in God. Second Samuel 22 (and Psalm 18) records his song of praise to God for the ways He had been a refuge for him throughout his life. He recalled, “In my distress I called to the Lord; I called out to my God. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came to his ears” (2 Samuel 22:7). God had delivered him from his enemies, including King Saul, many times. He praised God for being his fortress and deliverer in whom he took refuge (vv. 2–3).

While our distresses may be small in comparison to David’s, God welcomes us to run to Him to find the shelter we long for. His arms are always open. Therefore we “sing the praises of [His] name” (v. 50)

Prayer

God, I’m grateful You’ve always been and will always be my secure place to land.

I will be with you

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. Isaiah 43:2

Judah needed a God who would help, who would rescue and not forsake them. Imagine, then, the surging hope when the people heard God’s assurance: “Do not be afraid, for I am with you” (Isaiah 43:5). Whatever calamity they faced or trouble they would endure, He would be with them. He would “pass through the waters” with them, leading them to safety (v. 2). He would “walk through the fire” with them, helping them through the scorching flames (v. 2).

Throughout Scripture, God promises to be with His people, to care for us, guide us, and never abandon us—whether in life or death. Even when you find yourself in difficult places, God is with you. He’ll help you pass through the waters.

Jesus will rescue you ... Do not be afraid

Dear brothers and Sisters In Christ,

Do not be afraid of present situation. The Lord is on your side.
He will wage the battle for you. You are not alone.

God has not meant this life of yours to face it all alone. He is by your side . Walking with you.
His presence is enough to comfort you.

He Heals. He restores. Nothing is impossible to Him

Only believe Him. Handover your life to Him. In his hands they will be blessed.
